II. BRIEF

The pioneer of vegan food had undoubtably paved a way, one which was due a moment of reflection through key brand design touch points.

 

III. SOLUTION

Our role was to refine and redefine the restaurant group through a refreshed yet insight driven visual update. Taking inspiration from early brand documents nearly 15 years prior, we were able to revive mantras of the past through a fresh design language, which gave the brand new life.

 DERIVED FROM INSIGHTS

At the core, we felt there was a necessary reminder in the roots of the brand. Built off of unabridged passion for change, the brand was uncompromising in their passion to deliver real, whether through a thought provoking question or the day, or the truest ingredients to comprise your salad.

ILLUSTRAtive movement

Our system was built off of creating a visual language derived from an earthly palette, grocer-style detail and a dynamic movement currently not existing within the brand’s system.

DEFINED VISUAL LANGUAGE

We introduced a new visual execution for photography, moving into a new theme of abundance. Full, hearty, and healthy dishes showcased through a vibrant and dynamic execution while introducing more of a human element.

REVISITING THE “QUESTION OF THE DAY”

The brand has always been known for their question of the day - a moment of self reflection just before you order your meal. But we wanted to modernize their method, and move into their digital communities with the creative alignment of our new visual strategy.
