II. BRIEF
As a creative agency, we’re often creating for others. While we take pride in the work we develop, we often yearn for the ability to create without guardrails. To create storytelling in our process, controlled our way.
As such, we embarked on a passion project. A project where we make up the rules, the product, the direction and the outcome.
III. SOLUTION
Unanimously, we felt a connection to light. Our goal was to create memorable experiences focused around human centered design, that is connected to positive emotion; one that is imaginative, and takes our consumer on a journey.
WHERE We STARTED
Unanimously, we felt a connection to light. The way it makes you feel. The way it sets a tone. It serves as the foundation for a space, the lever we pull to create something unique.
Our goal was to create memorable experiences focused around human centered design, that is connected to a positive emotion; one that is imaginative, and takes our consumer on a journey.
SYSTEM
We developed an identity system grounded in a calming color palette, with a series of marks that brought our four vibes to life through their sentiments.
VISUAL LANGUAGE
Our visual language was rooted in 3D design, bringing our product into environments ranging from grounded spaces to surreal worlds. We knew our use of light in our photography was critical, so as to feel a sense of a calm vibrancy.
Our packaging exploration needed to feel as visceral as our brand vibe.
DIGITAL
We designed an interactive app that served in two ways (1) as a tool to control the lights brightness and color, in line with our four vibes and (2) to integrate a subtle editorial space for a reflection on mental health and mindfulness.
